Commutation = Commuted Value of Pension × Commutation Factor × 12.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

There are several ways to determine your Basic Pay:

  • Pay Slip: Look into your Pay Slip.
  • GA55a: You can also find it in your GA55a (Annual salary statement).
  • LPC: Last Pay Certificate provided from your Drawing Office.

As per rules defined under the Rajasthan service rules (RSR), gratuity is calculated as:
Gratuity = (Basic Pay + DA) × Years of Service × 1/4

Maximum gratuity payable is ₹25 lakhs, as per the latest rules.

It is a lump-sum amount received in advance, i.e. to be payable from your monthly pension. The formula is:
Commutation Amount = (Commuted Value of Pension) × (Commutation Factor) × 12
